David has 30+ years of experience as a distressed and special situation executive effectuating numerous restructurings, sales, recapitalizations and refinancings both in and out of insolvency proceedings. He has served in various roles including as CEO, CRO, CFO, board member, and expert witness. Prior to Emeris, he was MD and Head of Restructuring at GMP Capital, MD and Head of Debtor Advisory at Raymond James, and MD – Restructuring at PwC Securities.
In the last 35 years, Jim has developed expertise in representing direct lenders, hedge funds, commercial banks, buyers, creditor committees and debtors during in and out-of-court workouts and bankruptcies across a variety of industries. He was named a Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly from 2004–2009 and a New York Super Lawyer from 2010 to 2026. Prior to Emeris, he was a Partner at Andrews & Kurth, Winston & Strawn, Baker McKenzie, and McGuireWoods.
Nate has almost 20 years of experience as a trusted advisor, investor, and solution architect. His experience includes executing 40+ transactions totaling $20+ billion, leading strategy, finance, and cash management functions for multiple companies, developing turnaround programs, and serving as a fiduciary. Prior to Emeris, he was Head of Finance & Restructuring at PA Consulting, an MD at RPA Advisors, Head of Finance for a technology company, an investment professional at Hilcorp, and a banker at Scotia Capital.
As Head of Collections at Baker Hughes for over 40 years, Chris is well-known across the restructuring space as an aggressive advocate for trade creditors. Chris has been involved in almost all major restructurings in the energy sector, and has served as either the chairman or member of UCCs including: Delta Drilling, Forcenergy BT Operating, National Energy Group, Greka, Rand Paulson, Panaco, TransAmerican, Lawrence, Mustang Island, Montgomery Drilling, Erin Energy, and Lime Tree Bay, among others.
Bill is a trusted executive, advisor, and fiduciary to firms and stakeholders in higher risk markets – high growth venture firms and companies in disrupted sectors. Bill has most recently affiliated with a privately sponsored effort to transform a to-be-mothballed coal facility into a 3,000+ acre power generation facility and extensive data center campus. Bill has held roles as an independent director or CEO of firms in multiple industries including: Ernexa Therapeutics, Comera Life Sciences Holdings, and Upstate New York Power Producers. Bill has also served as a senior executive and MD in several prominent advisory businesses including BBK Ltd. and Huron Consulting.
Conrad is a real estate investor–operator and advisor with more than 20 years of experience across real estate investing, private credit, and executive leadership roles within both entrepreneurial investment platforms and global financial institutions. Over the course of his career, he has participated in more than $5+ billion of real estate transactions, serving as both an investor and senior executive across the commercial real estate finance and investment ecosystem. His experience spans the full spectrum of the industry—from Managing Partner and CIO of a private investment firm to MD within the real estate private credit division of a Fortune 500 global investment manager. He is an expert in real estate capital allocation, investment strategy, and operational execution, helping organizations scale investment platforms, manage risk, turn around underperforming assets and platforms, and deploy capital with institutional discipline.
